Il Premio Criminologia.it viene assegnato a chi si contraddistingue per il suo impegno nella salvaguardia dei diritti umani, per la difesa dell'interesse della nostra Nazione, per evitare l'errore scientifico e giudiziario
Istituito nel 2008, viene assegnato annualmente nel contesto di un convegno monotematico. Il Premio è realizzato dallo scultore carrarese Michele Monfroni in marmo michelangiolesco di Carrara, copyright by Criminologia.it.

 

 
 

Reasons for awarding the prize

For his efforts in the development of the Arab police thought, the prize of Criminologia.it has been granted to Prof. Dr. Mamdooh Abdelhameed Abdelmottlep.

Dr. Mamdooh has been considered one of the first recipients of doctoral degrees in Police Sciences in the Arab World, and he is also the first to call for a professional police work as a career, and not as a job. He called for a specialized security work, and to have specialized employees.

He moreover called for the development of police education by establishing police colleges specialized in police sciences. He contributed to the creation and development of the a specialized academy of Police Sciences, and his efforts contributed - after he has been assumed the editorship of the journal of police thought, issued by the UAE Sharjah Police - to make the journal the most prevalent and distinctive scientific journal, and as a scientific reference for professionals in the police research, as well as achieving an International widespread. Additionally, Dr. Mamdooh has presented more than 250

researches, books, studies and scientific literature in the field of Police Sciences.

Recently,
Dr. Mamdooh has established the Police Sciences International Association IPSA, which includes

researchers, scientists, experts and practitioners to security work from various countries around the world. Furthermore, Dr.

Mamdooh has organized and taken part in a host of conferences, symposia and workshops in the field of Arab Police
